Position Overview
DSD Labs is seeking a Cloud Engagement Support Specialist to support migration of new and legacy applications and services to a cloud environment; operations, maintenance, and refinement of an enterprise cloud environment; and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure. The candidate will support clients in their cloud operations to enhance, optimize, and maintain their computing capabilities across their technical landscape, including interviewing clients on current-state applications and infrastructure, leading working sessions to build cloud migration action plans, and working with the broader project team to migrate legacy applications to the cloud platform.
Responsibilities
• Provide support for operations and migration services that enable Cloud One to tailor the availability and delivery of cloud computing services based on business and technical requirements
• Utilize Cloud One's Engagement tools, CSP native portals and tools, and/or other approved tools necessary to provide operations and migration support
• Help provide inputs to Cloud One's Onboarding and Operations processes and procedures, with the goal of continuously improving the cloud program, technical, and operational framework required to effectively and efficiently deliver and manage cloud computing capabilities
• Confer with Cloud One management to define the client's strategic business information technology goals and advise on reengineering business processes to meet those goals
• Execute analysis and evaluation of existing or proposed processes, applications, systems, or software
• Help perform and prepare briefings, project plans, scope, control, management, tracking, and review
• Direct efforts around business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and process integration with security, architecture, budget, and acquisitions
• Ensure compliance with standards and organizational requirements relative to specific assignments
• Manage reports, cloud infrastructure assets, and associated licensing for products/tools
• Maintain the project SharePoint site, update documentation, record meeting minutes, and follow up on risks and action items

Qualifications
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant IT work experience
• Significant hands-on experience with the analysis of business, functional, technical, activities, and events related to cloud operations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen
